Men's Hockey Schedule Released
Summer may not have really started yet, but it's never too early to look ahead to the upcoming hockey season. BU's schedule was released last week, featuring 17 home games at Agganis Arena. The two most exciting non-conference games are a home game against Denver on October 15th and a trip to Madison Square Garden to face Cornell in Red Hot Hockey on November 26th. Other than that, it's a pretty boring schedule as most games are against Hockey East foes. No tournaments this year aside from The Beanpot. I do like the road matchup against Harvard (January 4th) not only because it should be a win, but because it's close and we should be able to get some fans there even though it's over winter break. We get Harvard again in the first round of The Beanpot, so make sure you hold on to those finals tickets this year. Your first chance to see the team in action at home will be an exhibition against St. Francis Xavier on October 1st, but the season really gets started a week later when the Terriers host UNH. Just a little over 4 more months...
