The Dog Pound Belongs to You!

Let's be honest, the Dog Pound this year was underwhelming to say the least.  Attendance was low at most sporting events this year.  While a lack of attendance may not be a surprise at the majority of Boston University athletic events, even men's hockey suffered in the student support category.  There was a lack of originality and creativity at men's hockey at that must be changed.

I am not pointing fingers at anyone, but a change is needed in order to return the Dog Pound to its former glory.  We need to make Agganis Arena an intimidating place to play, no matter the record of our beloved Terriers.  We need to increase our attendance at sports other than men's hockey as well.  Keep in mid the Dog Pound is not just the student fan section for men's hockey, but for all sports at Boston University.

The hope of this blog is to unite those passionate in BU Athletics.  If we are a united, then there is no limit to the success of the Dog Pound.  While we will likely never become an official SAO club at BU that does not mean we cannot have structure and organization within the Dog Pound.  As of now I feel we are just a facebook profile and a group of unintegrated students.  This blog is just one step to transforming the Dog Pound into a group that everyone can take part in.  At the bottom of the blog is a forum where followers can post questions, answers, and comments.
